Been on a break from trading & forums for a few months. Good to see Ashraf still here, better than ever.

Well, I bailed at 1.2997, but only because I am going to be away for a bit with no reliable or secure internet and I wanted to leave flat. Will be interesting to see how high it goes above 1.3. I guess it's going to need some more news or data to actually trigger this.

Good luck to all.

It's been a bit choppy and uncertain.

@Catnip: Thanks. I share your caution as to whether it will get that high or not. Will we have a Monday morning jump I wonder. - Mutual Fund Monday or whatever.

Is all this suggesting more volatility in the Euro as the stress test results are picked through and deconstructed? Waves of alternating pessimism and (probably false) optimism?

As we anticipate the results, I feel we are spectators in a drama, maybe even participants.
But is it tragedy, comedy, or farce? Or maybe pantomime. Who is the fairy godmother, and who is the pantomime villain?

Could do anything at this particular point I think. Let's get the stress test results out of the way and then see what happens.

Meanwhile, Catnip has timed his short pretty well. +~60 pips at time of writing.

"EURUSD ooking for fresh attempt towards $1.2970."

Not to quibble :-) but EUR/USD did not quite meet 1.2970. (1.2965 on my chart; rolling daily). Still, close, so not bad :-)

Currently in retreat, so we'll have to see how it gets on with $1.3020.
