Yen strength still eclipsing USD rebounds during risk aversion. while gold's ascent is better gauged against currencies other than the US dollar.

And I closed at 1121.6 ... you guys finesse me all the time! :-)

Oh well, could have been worse.

Not a great day today, to be honest, but perhaps a quiet end to a turbulent week isn't such a bad thing.

@chloe-I closed gold at 1017.1. Want to be flat over the weekend. Will be shorting again next week.

im hopeing for a bit of a selloff..atleast for things to come off there highs..but now usdcad has broken 1.0400..ur prob gonna be right over my opinion..lol..gl

Only one hour remains until the PPT comes back from lunch to goose the spoos so that stocks and gold close on their high ticks for the day.

I'm guessing plus 100 on the DOW (10 on S&P) and Gold at 1130.

What are your estimates for closing levels?

i told ya pipedoff theres nothing to worry about lol..lol..lol..lol..as im feakin out myself..im looking to add more gold shorts next time it runs up to 1127 again..gl

ya it gets a bit frustrating waiting to get his take on things while things are crshing..just be nice to get his take on things....but u know if hes not talkn then he must be sticking to his guns,this is where i need to work on my patients i have everything up for sale an not changing unless we hear from ashraf..gl pipedoff

@chloe-the criminals will keep the DOW at 30 +/-8 until the designated hour of 2:30 NYT, when the PPT is once again summoned from the bullpen to jam the sppos and gold to close at the daily highs.
