Ashraf , if you'll excuse my total and utter ignorance ,what does London importing NYC's rains mean from your twitter site ? Is it a reference perhaps to London's weather ?

Carlco ,it's going to take a huge spike for those Aug vix calls to be profitable ,but then again the vix does have a tendency to move up significantly between June and August.

Thanks for that carlco . I meant confident in the context of next weeks market activity. There are several technical factors not least of which is the 'price' action of the vix to suggest that indeces may move higher from here and hence I agree with you on this point.

FXMT, CHFJPY rising channel since Jan appears to under assault at the 87 level. daily chart shows the turn is likely to intensify, hence benefiting JPY vs JPY.

Hi Ashraf ,in your quote above is that meant to read JPY VS JPY ?

Ashraf , I've noticed since about mid march that silver and the dollar have had an inverse relationship so I'm waiting for the dollar to finish it's currrent upwards run and then jump onto silver.

SEC filings show corporate Chiefs cash out of their share holdings at rapid pace .Ashraf this is from your twitter site . Can we assume tis bolsters the argument for more equities weakness and hence more dollar strength ? [ At least in the short term. ]

Steven ,momentum is currently favoring the upside but price should fall again when momentum fizzles.

Thankyou Ashraf , with my query below I was just trying to clarify a few points that occassionally confound me in regard to market relationships . I am aware that to attempt to stretch things to suit our needs isn't useful and I was not doing this . Cheers and I really appreciate your time and the feedback you provide to everyone on this forum.

Ashraf , regarding risk aversion rationale , where risk aversion is predominating in the markets shouldn't that be beneficial for gold and hence the AUD ? It seems that the opposite is happening here .
