Pipped off . There is no such thing as cable cartel . Cable can be very difficult to trade and when it gets bullish it can be very bullish and bearish same. The eur/gbp is one of the more boring currency pairs it just needs to see some action and there is nothing in this action that shows fundamental change in perception or it indeed disturbs elliott wave count of a flat being played out so trade what you see not what you want to see

To be fair to Tanvir, he doesn't seem to disagree with Ashraf's fundamentals, but that because of the nature of the FX market, fundamentals won't be obeyed. Perhaps a little like PippedOff's ongoing story about the "cartel".

FWIW, I've put my money where I think the fundamentals are for the time being.

tanwir, so you do buy in the notion that GBPUSD will rise above 1.70? i laid out the monthly chart for GBPUSD late last year showing teh arguments against 1.70. Fundamentally, the only reason for 1.70 to happen would be an Elections outcome that its ultra market positive (cutting taxess, Tories to power, broadening global econ recovery)

Tanvir, shouldn't people wanting to make have a 360 deg vision in research? i.e. consult charts/news/books themselves? it's ur money, it's ur decision right?. Isn't Ashraf an FX mentor & provides GUIDANCE to us all?

Hi lads, could someone tell me if there is a future or option that trades a Sterling index similarly to the Dollar index. Thanks.
