Hi Ashraf and everyone,

Holding about 50 / 50 cash JPY and AUD - looking to get rid of my AUD soon - although AUD/JPY has not made a daily low just yet. Is a retractment expected from the recent drop and to what level? i.e. what would be a good level to sell my AUD on the basis of holding JPY for some weeks?

Any thoughts and ideas would be very welcome.

Kind regards to All.

dragon, depens how long you want to hold it for. trend is still down and if you want to play the retracement than pick the session low and look for 50 pips.

dont get carried away on the retarcements

Ashraf,
Following up on Frank's query, what would be a good AUD-USD level to buy aussie?
Thanks.

Poor Aussie. No Cartel to protect it like sterling has with Goldman.

I was just reading fundamental analysts saying aussie will be .96 to parity in 6 months-something about the yield supporting the downs. Tell that to Aussie longs right now.

BTW, these same anaylsts will be calling for .8750 soon.

EUR:GPB - From Ashraf's Twitter home (reply to someone):

"we can even do 0.85 in $EURGBP as 1.38 EURUSD is question of when (not if). selling euro has been relatvly effortless".

Makes my long look a bit silly, but still, we'll see how it does below 0.86.
