No EURx will gain imo. But i don't bet on it stay sideline. I see that Libor and Eonia have retreated and so i assume that the market anticipates a big bank funding action by ECB.
Imo this is the only way to temporarily save the EUR from collapse.

Mikhail Prokhorov , a close friend of Godfather Putin and Russia's leading Mafioso proposed
under the lead of Russia a strong common currency for all of Europe inclusive of Russia.
Thus he said we gonna take the helm get your technology for free you work for us for free and we bail Euro out.
When such rats and criminals speak up it gets clear how dire the situation of Euro is.

Most likely imo ECB will play down inflation risk will signal halt of rate hike and open the flood gate to provide unlimited liquidity to banks below the fund rate. Money printing at its best.
That is ECB replays the FED after Lehman. Thus i think EURx will gain. Because the risk of bank default has not diminished.

agree there is a hefty resolution in the cards. Fundamentally however one should focus on the currencies not participating in the devaluation race.
I stay out of EURUSD today. EURSEK and EURNOK shorts doing ok.

in my mind:
1) range bound trade continues
2) ECB rates unchanged
3) QE3 looming near with Evans.
4) Austerity seems to "kick the can" until further revealing

Q)why did USD gain 50 pips since last night??

Just afraid that the CHF is "pulling" it up at the moment... Sure it cannot break 7.65?
What about long-term? Does anybody see 7.0 or lower?
