Forex Brokers' Share Price YTD & Since 2019

CMC Markets' share price performance maintains the lead among major forex brokers since our last update six weeks ago. CMC Markets' share price is +48% since Jan 2019, followed by Swiss Quote's +37%, while IG Markets drops to 3rd position. Year-to-date 2020 presents a different picture as Swiss Quote leads with 29%, followed by Interactive Brokers +15% and CMC +10%. XTB, IG Markets, GainCapital and Plus500 are all in the red so far this year. Year-to-date: XTB (-1%), IG (-2%), Plus500 (-5%), Gain Capital (-12%).

  I really dislike after-the-fact analysis, but looking at this chart of Gold speculative net longs at the Comex, it shows speculators began lightening their longs on Jan 23.
