eurusd short call @143 sl 1432 and long . Sudden jumps in relative strengths happened at Tokyo open EUR strength up USD down . ( USD sold vs EUR) The divergence is still going on
holding the long call to 1441 at first. On strength differences zero the system closes automatically.

They will need more oil more LNG . It is confirmed anothe nuke plant north of Fukushima is down thus they need oil for generators - I think however the demand is overestimated there are not enough generators to make some 1000 mega watts they lack now.

Trichet ECB a perfect non event. But there are news another Jpan nuke out of control. That could move fx if true. I'll stay short on all Portuguese Spanish banks Spanish cajas and some german banks.

Most parts of EURUSD EURJPY USDJPY.... moves were not reaction to Monsieur Trichet's FED speak but to another heavy earthquake hitting Japan and tsunami warning. Mark my words, this could not happen to Bernanke .

what about deposit rate? If that is not hiked and stays at 0.25% the whole hype about the funds rate just a hype. It means nothing in terms of tightening. Rather the opposite

No doubt to hike is economically pure madness but I think there is no way out. The most likely outcome is 25bp and mumbo jumbo ECB speak at conference. Greenspan has already delivered the script for Trichet for 1 mln USD (!) not EUR.
