warning on CAD: WEATYHERMAN ANALYSTS out pounding the table, says parity by summer in USDCAD. BOC will embark on a series of interest rate hikes similar to Aussies. There is one difference however: BOC does NOT want a strong loonie, unlike Aussie, where it is a matter of National Pride for Aussie to continue higher.

@ chloethebull i know chloe tell me about it. this gold rally has been sparked by that ludacris rumor of China acquiring gold from IMF and George Soros's comments. Lets see how far it goes. I do believe that before the end of the week it should retreat slightly. Are you still looking to pick up more shorts?

I went long EUR/AUD now at 1.4995 with a stop at 1.4950. I think the Aussie will tank the next days where the Euro looks like it stabilize a bit around 1.35/36.

Hi Ashraf,

I'm in a bit of a bind here with USD/CAD. Long way too high in hopes that BoC would stem the rise by talking down CAD. Even though it was mentioned, it didn't seem to do a hell of a lot. Hedging seems tough as well, because EUR/CAD and GBP/CAD both seem oversold, and selling yen (buying CAD/JPY) doesn't seem great in the event stocks sell-off a bit. Any suggestions, and I don't expect miracles, I know this is like asking you to teach me how to swim after I've jumped in the ocean during a hurricane. Thanks a bunch.
