"apparently its illegal to hav a smoke in the streets"

i can't help wonder what you have been smoking to come up with that lol
you can't smoke in pubs, restaurants, offices and enclosed public places like theatres (rightly so) but it's still fine everywhere else including the streets, outside pubs/clubs.....

By the looks of your nickname details, you are based in the UK, so it would be a lot easier to trade via a SpreadBet account and any hedging needed would also be a lot easier to manage as you would do it all in Sterling terms;

Trading: if you're short eur/usd via an ETF you are basically short euro AND long $ both in Sterling terms so if you want to be fully hedged you need to be also long eur/gbp AND short gbp/usd.
Zat correct?

someone called prop2009 or something like that posted a link in here a few days ago where he was posting the p/l on all the trades but he seems to have disappeared/been removed since.....but to be fair i don't know if he has been removed because he was openly posting the live trades from the subscription site (naughty) or because he was making trades up (as he wasn't an actual subscriber - naughty too)?

Has anyone got any views on how the spread between Crude & Brent (nearly $23 as I type) is likely to move depending on the outcome of the FOMC meerting today?
1) more easing or more easing than expected ------> the spread gets wider/narrower ?
2) no further easing from the Fed (unlikely) ------> the spread gets wider/narrower ?
Thanks in advance

"Competent central bank" is a contradiction in term/oxymoron.
