Certainly equities will crash and USDx will rise to 86 or so and UST 10 y yield will drop. But what came out of FOMC? I see no news on that?

Hehe, actually I have only one oil there: Crude Oil. Don't know which one this is but as it's a UK platform I guess it's UK crude oil...

Xaron,

Live chat, eh? :p

Well, Brent is also a form of crude. Your platform MUST have an option b/w UK crude & US crude...

Chloe,

The wrote along as I closed along my barest minimum positions! Currently, I'm short at 85.80 and 86.50. Let's see how these pan out!

Again, should equities collapse (they will...believe me, THEY WILL!! :S )...this would strengthen the USD...which should weaken oil. & it's only a matter of days before this happens...

P.S. I was at London Bridge earlier this week. Nice guess... :p

Well then I shorted Brent but on my platform (RBS Marketindex) it's called "Crude". Don't know why. ;) Price was 85.55.

Xaron,

Either you mean "shorted crude at 86.55" (because it didn't trade sub-86 today)...or you've shorted Brent at 85.55 (possible)...or you've shorted s/thing else at 85.55 (oops! Go check)... :p

Bill,

You're almost there! The volume from 83 - 86 was much lighter than the volume from 83 - 79. The same has been the story of the Dow.

Agree w/ Said that a sell-off is in the offing. When that happens, USD will strengthen...and if anything, oil should trade weaker...

P.S. The NFP was UTTERLY poor! This' where they take you to the tenth floor and push you down!
