Gold & Yen's Perfect Desert Storm

Yen strength still eclipsing USD rebounds during risk aversion. while gold's ascent is better gauged against currencies other than the US dollar.

Thanks a lot, it still does appear that traders see 1.5000 as the line in the sand - thanks

Rob, eurchf is all about EUR weakness these days and not CHF strength so maybe SNB thinks any efforts to sell CHF will be futile. technical selling could also be the culprit (look at EURUSD) so SNB could wait.

Hey Ashraf,

I'm feeling a little dubious about this SNB intervention in EUR/CHF - I could have sworn they maintained their stance on not wanting CHF strength - especially against the EUR. Any thought? Thanks for all.

Chloe READ MY LATEST IMT and TWITTER ON USDJPY. 90.40 will break and im opening the gates towards 90.70 followed by 91.20. Support is climbing to 90. Fresh USDJPY downside may not take place until after later January.

Rob, i mentioned 90.40 resistance yesterday's IMT.

Hi Ashraf,

Where do you see gold finishing into the end of this year taking into account
USD strength?

Hi Ashraf,

Thanks for the tweets and commentary - I was wondering your thoughts on USD/JPY. Do you see much (or any) upside beyond 90.00? Thanks a lot.

Mckin, just came across a WSJ article talking about the Gold/Silver ratio. i still expect silver to outperform gold but in short term, i see risk of falling towards 16.70 and potentially 16. Im still a buyer even at 15.
