Hey Mont, HSBC said they were willing to hire him since he was right more than 70% of the time and given that a few economist do better.

Once again, the famous oracle "Paul" (the octopus) was right. He correctly predicted Spain victory 2 days ago. Since 2008 he only failed to predict accurately 2 times, which put his accuracy ratio to 80% !!

Unfortunately for him, Paul is currently living in a German restaurant and could end up fried in a plate

Schork is often wrong short term, but has a clue on the longer term. So be careful, soon we're entering in driving and summer season. Bunch of people will need air conditioners. I don't see oil going down if equities rally during the earning season as well

I agree with Jamshed. This upward move is related to US growth expectation. Over the past weeks, one have priced a recovery and a Fed rate hike. Now provided bernanke closed the window of a rate hike, the dollar is weakening.

Well I don't know Jamshed if US and Japan will take the lead. Europe could take the lead as well. I mean, Europe is the best place for retired, but not for workers. They are already printing money to sustain theirs bank's balance sheets. Yes, Europe is doomed. And we are just awaking and most of us do not want to see the truth : we are bankrupt. Period.

So IMO this is going to be a huge roller coaster over the next months
