May be better to buy opportunistically EUR/CHF at low points, anticipating SNB intervention? (as per in the past)??

(with short TPs to be careful)?

@Ashraf: For those whose brokers don't offer CAD/JPY, is there a way to simulate this?
I seem to remember you covering this sort of thing in the past, but I can't remember where.

@Jason: "the euro is inherently unfit for purpose: one size does not fit all".

True, but the same could be said about the USA and its constituent states, all different.
IMO, the EU and the Euro was a good idea, but the EU became expanded too far, too fast.

@weiener: Tough about Twitter. Good that you have access to the Forum and at least some of the rest of the internet. We need to guard the freedoms that we have.

@Pipped: No, it's gone to 90.39 ...! :-)

Which I'd gone long earlier :)

Actually, this morning, I shot myself in the foot, with USD/JPY by hitting the wrong button on my platform, and lost money. Made it all back later....only to lose it all again (in my absence) after Obama's speech!

Think I'd better keep away from this pair for a while, until I can trade it unemotionally....!

FWIW, I'm still short EUR/USD (with large stops), but I agree about the daily candle. Have to be very careful. Also short cable, and I think there are similar-ish dangers here; daily candle maybe not so bullish...more like hald and half, but even so.

@Ashraf: Yes, it was just unfortunate that I was unavoidably away from screens* at and before the critical times today, and a bit shell-shocked by the USD/JPY fall, TBH. I did later go through all the tweets and saw your video analysis. I couldn't at first see the logic of the fall, but your video explained it well. Thank you.

(*and I'm too old to start monkeying with tweets to/from mobiles ... :-) ; Can't do it one-handed like the youngsters :) ).

Why though? What news did I miss?
