yep daily timeframe for example can be confusing with 1,2 1,2 i.e Wave 1 up, wave 2 down then wave 1of 3 up and then wave 2 of 3 down before the very impulsive 3 of 3 up, dadida.

on longer time frames maybe i do count to a certain point.... but i definitely avoid it on shorter time frames...
just focus on assessing main support/resistance on shorter time frames or current wave... so would know whether favor continuation or reversal....

Yeah subs, you are reading EW rules whether you admit it or not. You are absolutely right to be sceptical about counts and I like you as an analyst because you basicaly do what I do. If this then that, if that then this etc. Its the only way to trade.

could label it(4425/4422) W4 in EW count but i don't count EW anymore...
all i can say is that 4425(or 4422) was the last main high b4 dropping to new lows...
today's initial high(4235) was only a minor one since it was only an 8 hour high... and consider the drop to 4122 as extension of wave from 4425 high... since we broke thru 4235 8 hour high.... can now mark whatever high it may print as new main high(if Euro drops below 4122)....
so technically... as much as i agree with you... can't still assume that wave from 4940 has ended... until 4425 is taken out...
